My mother and father bought our farm at Barraba in 1983 and we have been running sheep and cattle ever since. Our family immediately adopted the local philosophy and the free range ideals. We grew up in true country fashion, collecting our own eggs, weeding our vegetable garden, even milking the cow.The town of Barraba is located 90km north of Tamworth in the north west of New South Wales. Surrounding the district and our family farm are the Nandewar mountain ranges. It is perfect country for raising free range produce, with an average rainfall over 1000mm, and no large scale cropping programs in our area.
Some of our farmers have been on the land for generations; the pride in their work and that of their parents and family is reflected in their products. They know how to look after the environment and the animals;
